CHILDREN'S SHOWS

InMotion Dance Inc. presents energetic and fun filled performances for children. Cinderella and The Princess and the Pea are currently being offered. InMotion has created unique musical theatre versions of these famous fairytales, each with an approximate running time of 45 minutes. Written and directed by artistic director Christine Brkich, the shows are interactive and fast paced with lots of dancing and audience participation. The performance is followed by a behind the scenes show and tell about how the show was created, including a hands on look at the props and costumes used. Cast members will then field any questions or comments from the audience, bringing the entire performance length to one hour. The Princess and The Pea and Cinderella are delightful shows for children at the pre-primary/primary school levels.

CINDERELLA

Children and parents alike will "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo" under the limbo stick during InMotion Dance Company's version of Cinderella. Not to mention the fun they'll have watching Cinderella being whisked away on her skateboard (otherwise known as her make-shift coach) to the royal ball, all the while listening to that rather disheveled and mixed up Fairy Godmother try to turn her spells in the right direction. Written and directed by Christine Brkich, this production will have you doing the hand jive in your seats with songs like "We Go Together", and tango-ing at the Prince's royal ball. With the compliments of a backwards Prince, and two very envious stepsisters, Cinderella finds herself in one of the most adventurous experiences of all. After all, what else can a skateboard, a limbo stick, and a lot of M & M's have in common, but a whole lot of fun!
