InMotion Dance Inc. offers these exciting workshop packages designed to fit the needs of all students and levels.
Workshop
A
This workshop presents a full day of dance to beginner teens from the
age of eleven and up. This fun and energetic workshop encourages self-
confidence and creativity. Classes offered include jazz, tap, modern,
ballet, musical theatre, and hip-hop. The students will also learn simplified
sections from company repertoire.
Workshop
B
Workshop B is geared towards elementary, intermediate and advanced level
students. For the first half of the day, two of the following techniques
may be chosen: Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Modern, or Pilates. The second
half of the day will focus on Musical Theatre, and choreographic composition
where the students are introduced to the art and skill of creating choreography.
To complete the workshop, students will learn and perform excerpts of
company repertoire.
Professional
Choreography Workshop
This selection gives dedicated students the exciting opportunity to have
original work created specifically for them. The teacher(s) can request
specific styles and/or content. Each student will be challenged, both
technically and artistically. This workshop offers the invaluable experience
of working in a professional setting with a professional dance company.
Master classes taught by the choreographer will be given in order o prepare
students for the style and technique necessary for the choreography to
follow.
Kidz
Kurriculum
This workshop encourages the creativity and imagination of children at
all levels under the age of eleven and can be adapted for any age group
starting as young as four. The first hour will consist of one of the following
classes: Ballet, Tap, Jazz or Musical Theatre. This will be followed by
creative movement, which encourages group interaction, musicality and
self-confidence. After lunch, students will enjoy other creative activities
such as theatre games and crafts.
